This topic will be a message for the people around to understand the topic more.
What is binge eating disorder? It’s a very serious disorder you consume frequently and an enormous amount of food that is an unusual amount of food in large portions as well and you cant stop eating. Many people overeat a lot of food and they are not in control of themselves, and that turns into a habit when you exceed your limits. I had this disorder last year I would eat non stop whenever I’m just home I needed to eat watching a movie not realizing how much I eat it, would happen everyday continuously and I would tell myself tomorrow I won’t eat and it never happened till I started to order myself food and controlling how much I eat everyday, it helped me major time and finding yourself a hobby to keep your self distracted from binge-eating disorder. Binge-eating disorder is being affected in social media, it’s a huge effect for example when you go to the movies in cinemas everywhere there are commercials about food offers Etc. Even on Instagram, Facebook, everywhere.
Nowadays binge eating affects young adults between the age of 18-22 years old. I am going to be talking about binge eating in the UAE. we need to be more practical and look at it from a clear angle since there is an enormous amount of people in the United Arab emirates that are binge eating. Young teenagers feel this way due to the people around them and the influence on social media that it has on the people but, that should not be the case. I will be collecting more information of how people are going to be handling on filling in a survey for the age of 18-22 years old in the UAE both genders and as well I will be asking for interview of course free will if the person will be comfortable and achieving a personal statement since I need as much as possible for my observation.
binge eating among UAE expacts: 18-22 literature review
Binge-eating is a disorder that typically goes unnoticed. Not enough is being said about binge-eating even though it is a frequent phenomenon among the population, especially in younger generations between the ages of 18 to 22 years old. I am going to be discussing binge-eating among the population of United Arab Emirates. It can be seen as a very serious disorder where one consumes food on a frequent and quantifiable basis, in other words, the consumption of unusually large amounts of food without the ability to control the frequency of consumption. Many people over-eat food and are not able to control themselves, this typically turns into a habit and the limit to consumption constantly increases, exceeding the limit to unhealthy levels of food consumption.
Binge-eating disorder (BED) is in the category of eating disorder [1]. There are multiple effects of BED from multiple sources. According to [1], patients who are diagnosed with obesity and BED have less self-esteem and have a larger depressive symptomatology than patients without BED. Moreover, they have affective and personality disorders [1]. It also effects the well-being of individuals such as suicide attempts, substance abuse and depressive symptoms [4]. Furthermore, BED is related to big health risks including obesity, psychological disorders, high distress levels and hypertension [2]. In addition, information within the UAE indicates that 495 females are binge-eating between the ages of 13-18 years old [2]. Studies have found that 5% reported stress-related over-eating habits. The main reason for this was due to school examinations. However, 32% of highest-scoring candidates admitted to binge-eating multiple times per week [2]. This shows that binge-eating is a serious threat especially to the youths, they tend not to realize the effects to their health when they binge eat during examinations as they are mainly focusing on achieving a high grade. According to [4], studies found that 77 male and 284 females between the ages 11 to 19 where reported to have eating disorders and eating disorder related variables in the UAE. In the statistics chart for eating attitudes test, binge eating has the highest percentage out of all the disorders [5]. Moreover, eating disorders have nearly has doubled in the last two years in Ajman, UAE among Emirati female high school students.
According to [3], the relationship of social media use and disorder eating hasn’t really been noticed among the youth. In the middle-east, there has been a mass growth of urbanization in areas such as media and globalization has played a humongous role in the region over the past several decades[6].
To conclude I believe that families nowadays affect the children through peer pressure ,as well as media, my personal recommendation would be for the youth to be more active. Companies and universities should spread awareness through campaigns that would be able to teach the population about the major risks of binge-eating considering the fact that most youths are not aware of the serious causes of it.

Task 3 : research project management plan
The topic that I have chosen is a contrasts between media effects on both genders men and women on Binge-Eating Amongst UAE Expats Between 18 and 22 Today. The topic provokes my questioning regarding there are many complications with this matter and as well unaware on the matter. I would like to concentrate my inspection on how binge eating has a fateful influence on an individual person, unsettled to the association’s impossible requirements, which has made many people have a lack of self-confidence. After all, I will be managing this research in both qualitative and quantitative processes as well I will be able to gain further information of how people feel and also in their personal assumptions.
the decision that I have made that I will be employing and as well approaching through quantitative and qualitative research it will be concluded and additionally conducting a survey of 10 questions particularly for the university students, I am also targeting to have approximately of 45-50 participants. It is very suitable for my personal study as it will also permit me and obtain more of an insight approaching the statistics and as well usefulness of the people suffering from this concern. I would like to get personal statements acknowledged and judgmental from both genders who are passionate and emotional about the topic, this falls into qualitative research, in arrangement for this to be completed I will have to speak about both genders and would and as well carry out an interview to obtain more understanding of how they feel about proceeding conflict and personal understanding. My research-creation will be a video and a poster, I have decided to be in a group project where the group that I’m involved falls in the categories of body image, every person has their part to present, and in total we are a group of 7 participants. The reason why we have decided to do a video and as well a poster since we are a group of 7 we can all split the parts and can finish it since we are not a small group. We are trying to raise appreciation and attention of the poster and the video can help people learn and even engage and perhaps even change their thought of the issue that is currently happening with all the topics that we have included in our project and as well change their routine. To complete my project I will as well be achieving extra research in the coming weeks as to what symbolism I will be adding in the group project as well as written material that will also advise people to gain more passion approaching what the video and poster have to provide. The text technique has to be breathtaking and as well comprehensible as well a clear given that I want people to be interested. The approaching weeks will contain off production as regards having my group poster and video finished. I desire to have a well-put-together video and poster that is exclusive and as well set up the integrant I need of covered definition, the benefit of colors, symbolism, and engaging reported knowledge after all the essential objective is to boost more admissions.
binge eaten should take a serious matter of act that should be noticed and as well more regard in social media. This argument might have benefited more appreciation and perhaps put on the guide news in the UAE feel less unconfident about their habit and start feeling more fearless with binge eating problems, rather than capturing my false image of the media
Task 4: Final research creation project
My topic is about “Binge eating among UAE expats between 18 and 22 years old today”. Because of the growing influence on social media noways, inspectors have woken up and started looking into the future how it impacted many people on social media nowadays, technology is playing a big role, having a negative image of binge eating.(Polk, Whitney.) “How the Media Affects Body Image.” World of Psychology. N.p., 09 June 2016. Web. 28 July 2017. “Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat are the most popular, and 71 percent of teens say they use more than one social media site. age 25- young people perceive what they see as reality. They are unable to tell the difference between everyday life, a moment in time or an image that has been altered”. My topic Is mainly focusing on “Binge eating among UAE expats between 18 and 22 years old today” and how they are being affected, the way that social media has a major impact on the age of 18—22. The people that have answered the survey, in Both gender’s I will be as well regulating my own quantitive and qualitative research for university students in particular as of I am needing more informational abstract for university students as regarding their assumptions, opinions, side effects, the experience they are having towards they’re body, I will be also having a direct interview this is why I am going to create a survey and as well a direct interview.
I have realized that the survey was required since I need an overview of how from the age of 18-22 reflected on topic, I have conducted a survey of having 10 questions and as well of a personal statement from a twenty-year-old female and as well a male, sharing their experiences that they have had and as well enlighten words, as well I wanted to hear their viewpoint. The literature review approved me to regulate on many sources I have established articles on my topics, I was allowed on narrowing down my findings in a straightforward and as well achieve an insight towards the purpose in a much-required level by evaluating articles.
the creation I have regulated for this project is a storyline with 7 participants from BCM class we have all combined our thoughts and ideas, since we are all in the same category of the “body image” group it was very easy to connect, we all understood each topic and that helped us to combine all of our videos together as one and we all collaborated and decided to make one big video rather than a poster, we have created our final creation on body image which are plastic surgery (TikTok), fashion, anorexia, binge eating, body image, we have created a video that it would be eye-catching video as possible based on women mainly. The part that I have chosen is to talk about is binge eating, my message is to send to every single woman out there a message that can help girls to stop binging, the internet is affecting everyone out in the world who are going through those problems that are trapped in their issues. In my part that I have created a story which is a true story about me how I was binge eating because of social media, till I have woken up and took everything in my hands and stopped binging, I have lost 40 kg because I stopped binge eating and it helped me become more healthy in life more active I have changed my lifestyle because I started being more healthy and started going to the gym, I want every person to stop it and become more happy and healthy.
